Taylor - GLS Bristol. Emma HALL b. 1807 in Bristol the daughter of Richard Hall. She married William LONEY b. 1802, on 31.8.1823 at Stapleton. They had five children - Elizabeth 1824, Mary Ann 1832, William Thomas 1834, Emma 1836 and Dennis 1837.
Mary Ann Loney married Richard HART in 1852 and moved to Australia. She died 1884 in NSW. Descendants of this family can be viewed on here.
William Loney died in 1840 aged 38 and Emma then married William Taylor, a Brightsmith on 3rd January 1843.
William Taylor died and was buried in the Arnos Vale cemetery on 14th March 1850.
Emma was born at 2 Redcliff Mead Lane, St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol on 9th October 1843, The 1851 census shows Emma 44, Elizabeth Loney 25, Denis Loney 13 and Emma Taylor 7.
Family recollection suggests she ran away to the Blackmore home at Old Road, (now called Hartop Road) Combe Pafford and subsequently married on 18.2.1868 in the Upton Vale Chapel, Torquay, John James BLACKMORE.
They left immediately for New Zealand.
